Catching up.....(Written prior to Emily post, just not published in time)

Wow, so much has gone on since the last post, it feels like I posted it a year ago. Lol.

Let me backtrack and then will give more details. First, Lisa and Bruce came down to visit for Thanksgiving break. We had such a great visit with them! We had a really nice Thanksgiving--we celebrated with them, as well as Matt's cousin Kati and Andrew who recently moved to Asheville NC. We watched the Thanksgiving parade, some football, then went to the Wagner's for dessert.

The rest of the trip was a blast. First, they were such an incredible help with Ashley. They did so many fun things with her during the visit. They made homemade play-doh together, baked Christmas cookies,  went to the Children's Museum, zoo, playground, went to the Roper Mountain Light Show 2x (the last time being right before we were admitted into the hospital to have Emily). We saw Santa and roasted smores there too! They also bought Ashley a few Christmas gifts, one being her first tricycle which she rode a few times while they were here to see. Such a fun time! We were all sad to see them go. Luckily they were able to stay to meet Emily before they left.
