Happy LOVE Day!!!

We had a nice laid back Valentine's Day. Ashley was supposed to go to school for a Valentine's Day party, but it got cancelled due to the snow (surprise surprise). So instead we made the most of it at home.. I had a couple Valentine's decorations out along with some goodies for Matt and the girls. We spent the rest of the day playing. Matt and I celebrated Valentine's Day yesterday by going into a new section of NYC and walking around/visiting shops, then a nice dinner out. It was fun to get a few hours together! Here are some pics from Valentine's Day. I didn't get any from our outing yesterday because my camera was full on my phone :(

What we are doing between all the snow....

Aunt Lauren, Uncle Andrew and Ben came to visit...we got hit with snow and had an impromptu sleepover. It was fun.

SNOW SNOW SNOW

We apparently picked the worst winter to move back here...lol. We have been blasted with snow, and have had lots of days below freezing. Needless to say, if we hadn't bought a house I'd probably be running for the hills by now. The only thing that is bringing me comfort is knowing that the whole east coast has had a bizarre winter (actually whole year), and Greenville has been hit with snow and cold too so I'd even be getting it down there.
So what do you do when you get pounded with snow? You make IGLOOS!!!! We've been making the most of it and have had fun sledding, snow shoeing (my first time trying it as well as Ashley's), building snowmen, building igloos, and we even tried a recipe to make snow-cream which was actually very good. Here are a few pics of our winter fun--hey if you can't beat em', join em'! Here are some pics of our fun times.
