We had such a fun weekend, I had to write about it. Friday night we were invited to spend the night with our friends at a cabin out in the country. The next morning, Laura and I went shopping while Matt and Jamie went hunting for turkey. It was Matt's first time. Although he didn't get anything, he had a fun time with the thrill of the "hunt".
Later that evening we got together with Jen, Jim, and Lily. We went out to eat at Soby's. They have been telling us for forever how good it was there, so we finally made the trip with them. They were right, it was really good. It was so much fun just spending time with them. We always enjoy their company, and Lily is always fun and entertaining. I was impressed with how good she was out. After dinner we took a small walk downtown, and got to see a fire juggling performance. It was a great time.
That night we went back up to the cabin with Laura and Jamie. We played some games, watched a movie, and had fun hanging out.
The next day we grilled out for lunch. Then headed back to Greenville. We got together with Matt, Christi and Eli. We checked out a house (in progress) with them, then went out to eat, then back to their place to watch a movie. It was a really fun.
This weekend just made me feel so blessed to have met such wonderful friends. We're very lucky.
So, good weekend. Very relaxing, yet busy all in one.
