35 Weeks!

Today I am 35 weeks pregnant...that number didn't shock me until I saw the post and put two and two together when I realized that is only 35 days to go! When you start putting it in days, and see there are only 35, give or take some, wow! Crazy!! It is creeping up quickly.

I have a feeling I may go early too. I was reading the blog I kept with Ashley, and I had this "feeling" I may have her early (which I didn't)...but when looking back, I think that feeling was more of a hopeful excited anticipation. This time there are actual physical symptoms that make me think I may. With Ashley, I was still feeling "pretty good" right up to the end. Normally when you get close, you start feeling it in your body more from what I hear.

I was reading that last week was supposed to be when the baby begins to drop. Emily is always very prompt with these updates. Haha. In the past few days she has definitely shifted, and it hasn't been too fun for me. I have been having a constant ache/borderline pain on the top right half of my stomach. I am pretty sure it's her little "hiney" sitting in a new spot. Not comfortable! I was excited because yesterday I woke up and she had moved out of it after a day or two of it being constant, but then later that day was right back in it. Grr.
Emily--I hope one day when you read this blog you will look past all the complaining and griping about the pregnancy and still see that you were so loved and wanted. Poor thing, I am always complaining about pregnancy stuff this time, but that doesn't mean we are not thrilled to have her joining our lives (and a little bit of the normal nervousness too).

I will post pics later!

I am also posting pics from our FUN day! We started off by having our traditional "Waffle Weekend". I call it a tradition because Matt and I started making homemade waffles on either Saturdays or Sundays for the past few months. It's something we really enjoy now.

After we took Ashley to the pumpkin patch in the morning. She LOVES pumpkins right now--we stop and point at all the pumpkins or Halloween decorations that we see around the neighborhood. So she had a blast seeing a ton of pumpkins and picking some out. They also had a hayride that we went on, farm animals that we saw including some of her favorites--roosters and chickens, wheelbarrows, etc. We all had a great time.

Later that afternoon we went to Boo In The Zoo. It's this big event that the zoo puts on where they have a ton of halloween decorations up, a "not so scary" scary house to walk through, and they do trick or treating. All of the animals were up and the most animated that we've ever seen (probably due to the huge crowd). We went with our good friends, Matt, Christi, Eli and Katie Wagner. Then afterward we went out to dinner at Chilis together. It was a really fun day! Here are some pics from the day.
