Today we went for our 12 Week Ultrasound/Doctor's appointment. The doctor said that everything looks great! It was so amazing to see how big our baby has grown from the original ultrasound taken at 6 Weeks, 1 Day (shown below). It was just so amazing. The woman who did the ultrasound was the same woman that we had on the day that we found out I had a dermoid cyst and would probably lose my ovary, along with endometreosis. Seeing her brought me back to that day-- I remembered feeling so devastated and so worried that we'd never be able to have children with the complications she found. So I was in such awe, reflecting back on the emotions I remember feeling on that day, to sitting here just 8 months later watching my baby alive, well, and moving; knowing what a true miracle this baby is. So amazing! The baby moved around a little bit, and we could see him/her moving their legs around. A day I will never forget!
My blood pressure was 112/60, and the baby's heart rate was 162! Strong and healthy!
Also, we finally got a confirmation on E.D.D.....January 3, 2011...I wasn't off much, I calculated January 2.
